Swimming Lessons

I am still playing catch-up with posts.

This summer we attempted to have swimming lessons with the kids again.  Instead of going to the Scera Pool for our lessons, we had lessons across the street at the Rocha's house.  They have a beautiful salt water pool and it would be great to have lessons so close with our neighborhood friends.

The teacher was a boy named Jake.  He was young, like high-school age and pretty good with the kids.  Rubie loved her lessons.  With just she and Savannah in the class they each got lots of attention from the teacher.
They started out with some instruction on the steps.
Then they would get to practice.  Jake had Rubie on her back, on her tummy, putting her face in the water, jumping in and all kinds of things.
Good job!
How was Eric in his class?
This is Eric during his swimming lesson.  "I'm not going in the water." Most days he didn't even want to come over.  I had to bribe him to even come into the backyard.  I always brought his suit just in case, but he stayed far away from the pool.
Doggy and Teddy Bear kept him company.  Maybe next year?
