Hail Storm

On Saturday night, September 1st, Scott took the kids to see a movie while I stayed home.  As I was sitting on the couch trying to find something to watch it all of a sudden sounded like, well, like the house was being pelted with small stones or hail.  Sure enough, a hail storm came through.  It was loud and scary.  From inside the house it sounded like walls, siding, roof, and shingles were being ripped off the house.  We may have lost a few shingles but the house remained intact.

Fish Faces

The weekend before school started, 8/24, we headed to Thanksgiving Point to play in the children's garden.  Eric and Rubie had a great time eating their snack of Rainbow Fishy Crackers and making fish faces at the large goldfish.  We did feed the fish some fish food so they  didn't feel bad about not getting any crackers.

American Fork Canyon on a Sunday Afternoon

Scott was at drill so I needed something to entertain the kids on Sunday afternoon.  After Church we headed up the Canyon for some cooler air and nature.
