Andy and Beth's second son was born yesterday. We will go visit them this week after they are home. Hospitals are not letting kids under 12 or 14 in to visit.
General Conference was last weekend. We watched sessions on Saturday and Sunday at home. The kids did pretty well with listening and being good. Eric even invited Brock to watch Saturday afternoon session with him.
I really liked these talks:
While Scott participated in the Red Rock Park City yesterday, Eric and Rubie participated in a tournament at BLK. They both did very well. Eric was awarded 2 1st place ribbons, and Rubie got a 1st and a 2nd place ribbon. I was proud of them for what they did. They both are really improving.
We love CornBelly's at Thanksgiving Point. We hope to get to go at least one more time. We invited Camden to go with us and brought him along. His little brother wanted to come too so Shannon showed up with McKay. It was fun for me to spend a little bit of time with her too. I thought we would end up leaving early afternoon because Sam would need a nap. But we stayed until about 6. He did have a melt down around 5, but I put him in the chariot and he fell asleep allowing the other kids to do the Corn Maze while I finally sat down.
Saturday after the karate tournament Eric went to Camden's baptism. He stayed at Cam's pretty much all day because by the time I got Rubie situated with Bailey here and then Sam at the Tulett's, Carlee and I went on a ride and I didn't get back to pick him up until just after 6. But it was a nice day. This week we are looking forward to Fall Break on Thursday, Friday, and Monday.
Today was the Primary program at church. Eric talked about making a good choice with a video game and Rubie talked about helping with Sam and being reverent at church. I'm very proud of both of them.
