Brother Morton in the bishopric asked for a family photo and some information about our family to introduce us in the ward newsletter. I just think it is funny how we have to go through a few pictures to finally get a decent photo.
This is what Brother Morton (I assume) wrote for the ward newsletter about us:
The Wilson Family
This month we would like to send out a warm welcome to a family that has been with us a while but perhaps not properly introduced to us. The Wilson family comes to us with great enthusiasm. Sis Laudie hardly knew that Jennifer was in the ward before she practically showed up on her doorstep looking for her visiting teaching assignment. Is it that she’s a morning person It may be that they tend to have a little more get up and go than some of us late sleepers. Jen also enjoys anything outdoors and is a lover of sushi…⋯raw fish and the outdoors those two seem to go well together. If you want a real head scratcher, how about this combination…the National Guard and tap dancing! If you thought this combination occurred only in old Gene Kelly movies, you would be wrong. You’ll find that Scott is the common denominator here. He loves sushi also and is apparently a whiz with a Ham Radio. Their two children are sweet Eric, who is the spitting image of his father but actually has an alter ego (Spiderman or Power Ranger depending on the day) and then beautiful Rubie who is quite athletic yet stays true to her inner self by enjoying the occasional princess story. Let’s make the Wilsons feel like royalty by giving them a grand tour of our palatial hearts here in the Grove Creek First Ward.
