The Princess Turns 4

Rubie had a fun birthday celebration that lasted for almost a week.

The Saturday before her birthday Grandma Jeppson and Great-Grandma Perry came to spend some time with her.  They took her and Eric to the mall to Build-A-Bear and let her choose out some new outfits and accessories for Belle Bear.  Even Eric got a present of a spiderman costume for his Build-A-Bear.  Then we all enjoyed lunch together in the food court.  Grandma Jeppson also brought a little birthday cake for Rubie so we came back to the house and sang Happy Birthday and enjoyed some sweet birthday cake.

Rubie got to open presents from our family on the morning of her birthday which was a Wednesday.  The following Friday we had a friend birthday party.  She invited 5 of the girls in the neighborhood that she likes to play with.  Paisley Hatt, Paige Ashton, Julie Huddleston, Maddie Stice, I guess just 4 came.  Then I hired Ruthie Platt from across the street to come and help me with the party.  She is great with the girls and especially with crafts and playing games.  The girls came dressed in their princess dresses.  We made princess tiaras, rings, bracelets and wands.  We played Kiss the Frog, dress the princess relay, and dance party, then had a treasure hunt.  Then the girls enjoyed some pink princess cupcakes.
