Neighborhood Hoe Down

Our ward is really good at having great activities that are well-planned and well-attended.  This summer the ward hosted a 2-day event.  A neighborhood hoedown.  Complete with live music, best pie and chili contests, pie eating contests, games and contests, hide ride, stick-horse races with pig round ups, and a grease pole.  There was even horse riding, snow cones and ice blocking.  The event started Friday night with the band and square dancing and continued on Saturday morning with the other events and ended with the PG fire truck coming to hose everyone down.  It was hot and that was appreciated.
