Trick-or-Treat, Happy Birthday to Sam!

Scott was out of town for work the week of halloween and came back Halloween/Saturday morning.  Eric and Rubie were able to dress up for karate each day.  Friday night they had a buddy night.  Rubie invited Kiana, and Eric took Mckade and Parker Wallace.  Saturday afternoon Andy and Beth showed up with Isaac and Reed.  They were going to the Garth Brooks concert and then staying over in a hotel in Salt Lake.  Rubie dressed up as a baby in cute Wonder Woman pajamas with matching ones for her doll, Shannon.  Eric dressed up in a skeleton mask and black clothes.  Sam wore a Iron Man hat for a couple houses.  It was pretty warm.  Scott dressed up with a scary hockey mask, wig, and machete.  He put on halloween music coming from the garage with fog and a strobe light.  I joined up with Aimee Charlton and we took the kids trick-or-treating around 6 on our street.  Isaac, Sam, and Reed were done by then.  Aimee took Brock, Rubie, and Eric through the rest of the ward and then to the Amador's where people gather for Pazole, to see the fire pumpkins at the Busby's and get scones at the Fassbinder's.  Reed went to bed and Sam, Isaac and I handed out candy and laughed as Scott scared/startled the trick-or-treaters.  The kids came back and we watched movies and ate candy and treats.  We took all the kids to church to us and I was surprised at how good they all were.

The next day was Samuel's 3rd birthday.  Being Monday, he goes with Carlee so I can volunteer at the school and do whatever.  She is so great and had a total party planned for him.  When we met at the school she had a bag of doughnuts with an enormous balloon attached.  He was so excited.  Then she took her boys and him to Kangaroo Zoo, Sunny and Quinn joined them.  He had so much fun.  He fell asleep right in the middle of the floor there.  That evening we went to McDonald's as a family.  He got playdoh and an RC ATV.  He has been playing with the playdoh everyday since.  Thursday my mom and Addie came to visit Sam for his birthday.  Grandma had a big fire truck and spiderman jacket for him.  She got an, "That is SO AWESOME!!", from Sam.  The fire truck has a siren and lights and moving ladder.  It's cool and he loves it!  He has been asking for a Rescue Team Garage so I am going to have to try to order that for him as it is not available in toy stores here.
