The Wednesday after Labor Day on September 5th, Rubie started preschool at Stepping Stones Preschool. Stepping Stones is held in a building that used to be an old church but is now used as a Center for the Arts, a reception center, and a preschool on the bottom level. She is loving her classes. She goes Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:50-11:20. She has a music/theater class, art, snack, and the core class with Miss Valerie. Maddy Stice from our ward/neighborhood is also in Rubie's class. Anna picks the girls up each day to take them and since I also have to get Eric from school each day, I bring them home. The school is just 2 minutes down the street from American Heritage. The arrangement works out well and I am pleased with what she is learning.
In the same building, just up the steps from her preschool Rubie also participates in the Timpanogos School of Dance ballet class. Her teacher is Miss Julie and right now they are preparing for their performance in January. She loves her little class and loves to show us what she is learning. Rubie dances and performs all throughout the house and where-ever we might be. Her dance class, and now karate give her new material to use all the time.
