Eric's First Day of School

On Monday 27, August 2012 Eric started school as a kindergartener at American Heritage School.  He is in Mrs. Hobbs a.m. kindergarten class.  Scott takes Eric to school each day.  We are loving American Heritage School.  What a great opportunity Eric has to be a student there.  He is making lots of friends and learning so much.  I am so proud of the kind of student he is.  We are required to give the school volunteer time and so I have been to Eric's classroom a few times and have seen how he is in the classroom.  He is obedient and does his work well.  He is social but is also learning to be a good leader.  Eric is a good example to other students and to his sister.  We spend time each day doing his homework and reading.  He is good to discipline himself to do his work even though he would much rather spend time playing with friends.

There was a meet the teacher day before school started.  We received an assignment to make this little person to help Mrs. Hobbs and the other students lean about Eric.  He has a picture of his family on there, a picture in his karate uniform, a teddy bear, a marker, nun chucks, and his face painted as spider man.
