Daddy's Triathlon

On July 14 Scott would be participating in the Echo Triathlon.  We decided to make it a family camping weekend.  We got a camp site at the Echo Resort.  Our tent was given a spot basically on the road between all the RV's.  Because there was so little water the beach was huge.  We thought we were camping right at the triathlon.  Turns out the race was actually about 1 mile down the road.  We set up camp and then while Scott was checking in the kids and I played on the beach.  The road was closed the next morning to vehicles so Scott rode his bike to the race.  I had to drive back around the lake to the town of Coalville to park and catch up bus to ride 2 miles up the opposite way in the canyon to get to the race.  We enjoyed cheering for Scott and also for our friends Carlee Tulett and Sarah Thomas.

We built sandcastles and forts.

They wrote words and tried to get the water to flow in the letters.

Carlee off the bike.

The run was on a nice trail.

These two were such good cheerers.  They yelled loud and rang their cow bells.
Sarah finishing her race.

Daddy is stinky and sweaty.
