Rubie Loves to Run

One night this week when Scott came home from work he wanted to go for a run.  He went for a run as the rest of us were eating dinner.  Rubie thought it was so rude that he went for a run without her.  When he got back she was ready to go.  She got on whatever shoes she felt were her running shoes, put her Tinkerbell backpack on and talked Scott into talking her out for a run.  She told Scott to go first.  She wanted to watch him so she could see his form (or something).  Then it was her turn.  She ran to the corner.  Scott thought she would be done there.  But she kept going to the corner of 570 N. and 500 E. Scott thought for sure she would be done there.  But she kept going all the way to 400 N.  There she turned that corner and headed West.  At 450 E. she turned and headed North back home.  She ran all the way through the Bishop's yard and home.  That is a LONG run for a 2 year old.  She was sweaty when she got home and after she had a big drink of juice informed me that she needs pink running shoes and has reminded me just about everyday since.

Nice work, Rubie! Keep up the running and soon you will be faster than your daddy! (I am not so sure about your mommy.)

She knows what she wants and she's determined to get it. So cute!
