Hike to Bridal Veil Falls

Another flashback: (will I ever be writing about what is currently going on?)

On Labor Day we wanted to go hiking with the kids.  We have not hiked to Bridal Veil Falls for a while.  So we drove up the canyon.  As we approached Aspen Grove there were cars parked everywhere.  We wondered what was going on.  Scott had to drop us off at the trail head and go on a hike just to park the car.

While waiting we snapped a few shots.  We noticed there sure happened to be a lot of people going on this hike.  We had no idea.  As we began hiking the trail was practically two long lines.  One going up to the falls and one coming back.  So glad that we decided to do the one hike that ALL of Utah County also decided to do.  The kids were great hikers most of the way.  A little over half way Eric decided he was done and threw a great big fit.  He wanted to go back.  Scott was a trooper and carried him the rest of the way.  We sort of had a fun time at the falls.  Among the hundreds of people there we found two vacant rocks to sit on where we could enjoy a little snack and throw things in the water.

We love water as a hiking destination.

Even if it is freezing.

My beautiful daughter.

My handsome boys.

Can you see the falls behind all those people?  I think they were beautiful.

Now carry me back too.
