April Days

  • April started with Sam and I at home making Play Doh creations.
  • We visited Joe and Tai's home to meet our cute new niece and cousin Scarlett Jo.  She is precious!
  • Tai posts cute pictures of her almost every day in beautiful outfits and big bows.
  • We had a night of bowling at Jack and Jill Bowling Lanes.  Rubie managed to bowl over 100!
  • Scott got Eric a microphone to sing into while practicing guitar.  Rubie wants one too.
  • We had a sleep over with Jaxon and Madden.  During Spring Break Joe went to work in Cedar City for a day and so dropped his boys off here.
  • We played here, watched movies, went to two parks, Discovery Park and Timpanogos Cove.
  • Great Uncle Jim Dunford passed away.  I went to his funeral with Mom and Dad.  Grandma Jeppson and all Dad's siblings (except Diane) were there.  There was not a lot of family but I did enjoy visiting with Dad's cousins.  I met Grandma's brother Chaunce for the first time.
  • Sam wants to run on the treadmill like me and so got some running clothes.  He wants to earn money and so will sometimes do sit-ups and push-ups with Eric and Rubie in the morning.
  • For Cub Scouts we started building projects.
  • Grandpa Jeppson and Jameson had birthdays, 68 and 2.
  • Grandma Jeppson brought Madden and Jaxon here for an Easter Egg Hunt, coloring Easter Eggs and lunch.  Eric also got to have Easter activities with Daniel's family.
  • Sam wanted to do a wooden project with Scott, so they built an airplane.
  • We had a fun Pack Meeting.  We got to hear from some local community heros.  Our favorite was Colonel Wizner. And Activity Days girls cheered up Sister Roberts.
  • Sam and I built some Perler Bead creations.
  • The 4th Graders put on a program about the History of Utah.  Eric's class did a skit about the Golden Spike.  Eric had a lead role of Devious Dan.
  • Eric and Rubie participated in a karate tournament.  It was held at the UVU Events Center. We had to wait a couple hours for their divisions to be called.  They both did well.  Rubie got a 3rd and 1st place.  Eric got a participation ribbon and a 3rd place.
  • The Platts Grandfather, Forrest Adams passed away.  I took Eric and Rubie from school and we attended his memorial graveside service at Camp Williams.
  • Leticia Adams Watson came into town and arranged for whatever Cherry Chubs were here to join her and her two children, Emma and Matthew at Thanksgiving Point Museum of Curiosity.  Mandy made it with Fay, Kimball, and Mitchy.  I took Rubie and Sam, and Amber Bradley Spencer came with her two girls, Paige and Penny.  We had a great time!
