Labor Day With The Wilson's

Shortly after Russell and Linda returned from Virginia, Russell said he would like to have a weekend with all of his children and their families and that he would pay for it.  With the help of Brandee they were able to pull that off.  They rented "The Red Barn of Kamas".  It was amazing.  While I don't want to live in that town, or really outside that town, I would live in the Red Barn.  It was totally transformed into this beautiful home.  There were 3 bedrooms and a bunk room.  It was decorated with beautiful furniture and had a nice kitchen.  There was a great fenced in back yard with a big patio and lawn area that we all played in a lot.  There was a fire pit.

So right after the baptism we got our stuff together and headed out to Kamas.  It was a beautiful weekend.  Mostly sunny and warm.  It was a little cool and rainy on Sunday afternoon when we hiked, but we managed our hike to a gorgeous little lake in between rain storms.

Everyone had so much fun playing games, video games, BYU football game, baseball, soccer, football.  We even had a boisterous game of marshmallow baseball.  Eating, lots of great food.  Brandee assigned each couple or person a food/meal assignment.  We all just loved being there and hanging out.  Dan and I went for a nice run together on Monday morning.  Aleca and his girlfriend Becca came and as always were a hit with the kids.

We actually would like to commit to a weekend like this every year with the Wilson's.
