What mountain did you climb?

I've probably told you this before, but I was mapping out who got which chromosomes and right now Alec and Rubie are the only grandkids of my parents that could carry any of my mom's dna. And given that Alec looks a lot like his mom and my dad in all their childhood pictures, it seems likely that he got my dad's x and not my mom's. Which would mean that Rubie is the only person (besides mom's kids) who at this point can carry on her genes. She is also the only grandchild who 'could' have any genes in common with Alec (if they both got the same x chromosome
